Description
New Look For Old Brick and Stone: Lake Superior State College has applied for a grant for the restoration of "Officers Row" houses, part of the original Fort Brady site. This first building on the west end of the strip of historic houses is a pilot project. Sandblasting by Harold Belanger removes layers of green and other colored paint, exposing the red brick; below it the stone of the foundation. The work is part of extensive site development and other projects on campus this summer.
